I provide simultaneous interpretation of your remarks and those of your partners between French and English.
For over eight years, I have been working as an interpreter in the private sector in Paris and throughout France in a variety of settings: in corporate environments, at high-profile events (political, cultural, and technical), or in smaller groups during confidential negotiations; and across a range of fields: human rights, women’s rights, and international law; energy and the environment; politics; and corporate affairs. I am also accredited to interpret for European institutions (EU).
To best convey your voice, I prepare for every assignment with seriousness and rigour. I thoroughly research your organisation, the parties involved, the subject matter and related vocabulary, but above all the stakes of your event and what you expect from it, to work hand in hand with you to ensure its success.

What are the interpretation modes at your disposal?
Simultaneous, consecutive, whispered, or remote interpreting… not sure which one to choose? Let’s take a look at your options together and decide on the best solution for you.
Simultaneous interpretation
From a soundproof interpretation booth and using specialised equipment, I provide live interpretation of your remarks into English and French. Simply wearing headphones connected to a receiver allows you to understand the other speaker and make yourself understood without interruption. Ideal for conferences, roundtables, corporate meetings, and official speeches. With this type of interpretation, interpreters always work in pairs so they can take turns approximately every 30 minutes and ensure maximum quality.
Consecutive interpreting
Sitting next to you, I take notes on what you say (a specific technique taught in conference interpreting schools) and then render your message aloud in French for your audience, taking turns speaking. This is ideal for smaller meetings, negotiations, tours, informal discussions, or short speeches. Please allow for extra time when using this interpreting method.
Remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI)
Is your event 100% online, or will some participants be joining remotely? I offer my “live” remote interpreting services, with logistical support from qualified technical service providers. Drawing on my experience as an online event organiser, I can advise you on the technical aspects you shouldn’t overlook and the best practices to implement to ensure a smooth interpreting experience for everyone, even remotely, while adhering to industry guidelines.
Whispered interpretation
For one or two people who do not speak the main language during a short meeting, I provide live interpretation in a low voice from or into French. Just as with simultaneous interpretation, this requires working in pairs. This method of interpretation can only be used in a quiet environment and for short periods of time. For site visits, it is possible to use a portable receiver system called a “bidule” to help everyone hear better.

How much does conference interpretation cost?
My fees depend on various factors: the type of interpreting, the technical complexity of the subject matter, the preparation time required, and the level of support you need.
