About
As a child, I wanted to have a say.
As an adult, I speak up for others.
So that everyone can have their say.
My Background
After earning two degrees in conference interpreting (from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the University of Manchester) and living abroad for eight years, I returned to Paris, where I have been actively working in the private sector since 2018. I am also accredited by the European Union.
My Commitments
Passionate about my profession, I also taught it for two years to master’s students at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), and I co-organised and led practice groups for professional interpreters seeking to maintain their technical skills (PIPS, Paris Interpreters Practice Sessions). These experiences have prompted me to reflect on my daily interpreting practice, because, just as for music professionals, our interpreting technique has to be refined, enriched, and deepened over time.
As a member of the AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters) and the SFT (French Society of Translators), I am particularly mindful of collegiality and professional ethics within our profession.
My Approach
I am extremely organised and will guide you by offering solutions tailored to your needs, doing my best to anticipate any unforeseen circumstances, to avoid any unpleasant surprises on the big day.
The interpreter at the microphone takes a back seat to let the speaker's message shine through; thus,
it is your voice that will be heard (and understood!).
